With an "excellent location" 13 miles from Downtown Houston, this "shopper's dream come true" has a "pleasant and helpful" staff and "direct access" to the adjacent monster mall (over 350 stores); "ok" rooms, outfitted with cherry-wood touches, are showing some "wear and tear", but remain "comfy" thanks to "double-nozzle shower heads" (many also have impressive balcony views of the city); N.B. watch out for Internet and phone charges.

Check in staff was very helpful in accommodating room request.
Traffic pattern around mall confusion - on one way street.
I found the remodeled section of the hotel to be very nice. I requested a remodeled room at check in. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

I had nothing good to say and was quite mad about my expectation of getting what we had requested.
I booked a King room for the third time and the hotel always gives me a double room. They are not following your agreed deals.

The rooms were nice, large and most of the staff was friendly.
They were repairing the water system, which did not allow me to sleep in.
Nice hotel attached to the Houston Galleria. Extras were rather expensive, but the location and the hotel features were very nice. I would recommend it despite the repairs that were ongoing and prevented anyone in the hotel from sleeping in on vacation. ...read more
